Sahodaran Ayyappan


  • Born at cherayi in Vipin Island of Ernakkulam,in 1889 Aug 21
  • 1917 at cherayi Ayyappan organized a Misra Bhojanam
  • He formed an organization Sahodhara Sangham
  • He also Known as Pulaya Ayyappan
  • He started the journel Sahodharan.
  • He became the founder editor of the magazine Yukthivadi in 1928
  • Ayyappan proclaimed his slogan jathi venda,matham venda,Daivam venda.
  • Sahodharan Ayyappan monuments at Cherayi
  • Sahodharan Ayyappan supported inter caste marriage and community feast.
  • He died on 6th March 1968.
